An x and y that make the equation true.
for example
y = -5x + 10
you can add (2,0)
which you will get 0=0
Graphically: a solution is a point on the graph.
A solution to a system of equations means
an x and y that make all the equations true.
for example
y=x
y=2x-1
you can use (0,0)
so the lines could intercept.
Graphically: where the lines meet or intercept.

Hey~ great job Zee! Except for your example though. (0, 0) is not a solution to that second equation.
